Discover unique ways to engage and connect.

If you work daily with vulnerable adults, children and young people you'll know that a flexible and sensitive approach is required to provide appropriate support. Each individual's experience is unique, and therefore the type of support offered must be tailored to the client's needs and requirements.

Horse-led learning offers a unique way to engage and connect with those experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, or for those who could just use some additional support. The sessions are not exclusive and can complement any other form of therapeutic intervention. Horse-led learning also stands alone as a robust therapeutic programme, positively influencing social, emotional and cognitive development.

Sometimes clients may struggle to express the difficulties they are facing, or feel unable to share the impact that previous trauma has had on them. Taking part in these sessions presents these clients with the time and space to explore their physical and emotional state in a safe environment and in a calm and gentle way. With the assistance of the facilitator the client can learn more about their physical and emotional feelings through their interaction with the horse. Developing mutual trust and respect with such a large creature can be hugely empowering for anyone, but especially for those lacking in confidence and self esteem.

Clients can take part in the sessions throughout any stage of personal development.

Develop mutual trust and respect.
