Personal development empowered by horses
About
The Wind Horse plays an important role in both Tibetan Buddhist and Choctaw culture.
The Wind Horse, according to Choctaw legend, speaks of a horse honoured as being the fastest and kindest of all the horses. If anyone was wounded, the Wind Horse would carry them to safety.
The Wind Horse is also a Tibetan Buddhist mythical symbol, representing wellbeing and good fortune. The Wind Horse possesses powerful, uplifting energy.
Becca set up Wind Horse Wellbeing in 2014 to provide mental health and wellbeing support to local children and adults from a variety of backgrounds.
She has a lifetime’s experience working with and caring for animals and young people - personally, voluntarily and professionally.
Becca began her career as a horse riding instructor in Surrey where she developed a keen knowledge and understanding of horses. She then went on to work and volunteer with orphans in South America and South Africa, where she managed a charity for the Street Community in Cape Town.
On moving to London, UK, she took up a role as mentor and key worker for vulnerable children and young people with a national charity, before working with Syrian refugees in Buckinghamshire. She relocated to Cheshire where she now lives and works.
Becca is a skilled and talented practitioner, who uses her knowledge of the natural world to create a calm space where her clients can thrive. She is nurturing, intuitive and compassionate and uses her skills, research and qualifications to provide safe and confidential therapeutic support for clients.
Her philosophy is that people can flourish when they develop secure, positive attachments and feel connected to others, enabling them to improve their own lives and those around them.
Becca’s sessions gently encourage clients to explore and express their authentic selves, alongside the horses, whose natural instincts and inquisitive nature provide a calming, natural and supportive environment.

"It was such a useful session today...to say some of those things that I hide from others. Also, the boundaries and assertiveness I saw in the horses helped me too. So thank you and the horses so much. I would love to do some more sessions. You provide a powerful space and guidance for healing."
